Together, we can instil a love of learning
The London Community Day School values parents as crucial partners in education. Parents are encouraged to openly communicate with our staff and to reinforce our work at home. While parent/teacher interviews are scheduled each term, teachers are available by appointment to discuss your child’s progress throughout the year.
A school actively guided by parents
LCHDS is guided by an active Board of Directors, whose members are almost entirely parents of children attending our school.

Parent / Teacher Association
The P.T.A. is a volunteer organization dedicated to enriching the experiences of students at LCHDS. We encourage all parents to join and be active in their P.T.A. Suggested dues are $45.00 per family.
These and other funds raised by the P.T.A. support: Shabbat shopping / Special holiday celebrations / Extra-curricular programmes / Newsletters / Unexpected school expenses / Special P.T.A. programmes
Miss Davis and Ligia Wagner oversee the fund raising and fun activities.
Experienced and dedicated teaching staff
The Secular Studies teaching staff at LCHDS all hold Ontario Teaching Certificates. Most of our Jewish Studies teachers hold equivalent certification.
Our teachers are talented and dedicated. Many have been with the school for years and form lasting relationships with our students and their families. It is not unusual for graduates to come for a return visit – often on university vacation!
